Day 1: Da Lat – Lak Lake (60 km cycling) (L, D)
Start the day with breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a scenic cycling journey through the undulating terrains of the Central Highlands. The ride will take you toward Lak Lake, the largest lake in the Central Highlands.
We’ll take a break for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing the ride through peaceful countryside landscapes. Upon arrival at Lak Lake, we’ll check in to the lakeside resort, where you’ll have time to relax and unwind. Dinner will be served at the resort, with stunning lake views to end the day.
Day 2: Lak Lake (B, L)
After breakfast at the resort, we’ll take a boat ride across Lak Lake to begin a guided trek through the Lak Lake National Forest Reserve. The trek will lead you through lush forests and rolling hills, offering breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding nature.
We’ll stop for a picnic lunch in the heart of the forest before continuing the trek. Afterward, we’ll return to Lak Resort for some leisure time. In the evening, enjoy a cultural performance and dinner at the resort.
Day 3: Lak Lake – Buon Ma Thuot (50 km cycling) (B, L)
Start the day with breakfast at the resort before a unique experience: an elephant ride across the lake, followed by a chance to try rowing in a traditional dugout canoe.
Next, we’ll begin cycling toward Buon Ma Thuot, the coffee capital of Vietnam. Along the way, we’ll visit the spectacular Draysap and Dray Nur waterfalls and take a short trek to see Gia Long Waterfall (7 km). After the trek, we’ll cycle back to the city for check-in at the hotel.
Day 4: Buon Ma Thuot (B, L)
After breakfast, we’ll embark on a city tour to explore the rich culture and history of Buon Ma Thuot. We’ll visit:
Ethnographic Museum – Learn about the diverse ethnic groups of the Central Highlands.
Akothon Village – Home of the Ede people.
Khai Doan Wooden Pagoda – A peaceful and culturally significant site.
Central Market – Experience the bustling local market atmosphere.
We’ll gather for lunch at a local restaurant before enjoying some free time to explore the city at your own pace. In the afternoon, the trip will conclude with a return to your hotel or the airport.
