We’ll start our trip with a ride to Chinatown, with stops at Cholon and Binh Tay markets to see locals bartering for goods. We’ll also visit the Thien Hau Temple, built in the early 19th century and dedicated to Thien Hau, the goddess of seafarers. Afterward, we’ll stop at a local café for coffee and watch the hectic pace of life in Ho Chi Minh City.
Following our market visit, we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch of "Pho" or other Vietnamese cuisine. After lunch, we’ll ride to visit some famous HCMC landmarks. Our first stop will be the War Remnants Museum, originally opened in September 1975, displaying old military equipment and other artifacts from the Vietnam War. In the courtyard, you’ll find larger exhibits, including an F5A fighter and a UH1-Huey helicopter.
Next, we’ll visit the Reunification Palace, formerly known as the Presidential Palace, where South Vietnam's surrender took place in April 1975. We’ll also see the Notre Dame Cathedral, followed by the General Post Office and the Opera House — all beautiful examples of French colonial architecture.
This one-day trip will provide insights into the history, culture, and daily life of the locals in Ho Chi Minh City.
