HA NOI to HOI AN TOWN (along Ho Chi Minh trails)
The trail became a network of roads, paths, and facilities, hidden by natural and man-made camouflage. By 1973, trucks traversed its length under the canopy, fording streams on submerged bridges.
Initially reliant on manual transport, the trail shifted to motorized logistics with Soviet and Eastern Bloc trucks. In 1961, the North Vietnamese deployed their first motor transport unit, accelerating supply operations.
